The Club purchased a new ball machine in late 2016. This is offered for use by Members when the weather is dry. Ball machines are expensive pieces of equipment and should be used only when conditions are right. Wet tennis balls will damage the machine.  They are very useful for tennis training. However, they fire out balls at high spead and can also be dangerous if not handled and operated in the right way. Please take adequate care when using this equipment and U16s must be accompanied by an adult when using the ball machine. Members have the combination to the place where the ball machine is kept. Please also note that when not in use the ball machine needs to be plugged into the electrical socket where it is stored and kept on charge. This ensures that it is fully charged and usable for the next Member who uses it.
